Role: Facilities Management Department input into the Accreditation package

The City of Largo Public Works Department was seeking accreditation from the American Public Works Association as its 50th accredited agency. The process was long and involved. All functions of the Public Works Department had to be documented and scoped against APWA benchmarks.  The process involved several iterations and revisions before submission. APWA approved the City of Largo accreditation after a site inspection and tour. This was quite an accomplishment for a Public Works Department serving a city of only 75,000 residents and competing with cities that were much, much larger.
